Shameless blogger and contributor Thea Lim has just published her first novel, The Same Woman (Invisible Publishing). There’s a great interview with her by another Shameless blogger and contributor, Stacey May Fowles, over at Until Monday. Way to go, Thea! We’re proud of you.

Aw, geez. Thanks Nicole!
Amusingly at our Halifax launch, there happened to be a magazine stand right next where I stood and read that was full of copies of Shameless...this inspired a question from the audience about the connection between my creative writing and my Shameless writing, giving me an excuse to gush about Shameless and how much I am thrilled to be a part of it!

I'm still annoyed at myself for missing your TWB launch, but I wanted to join Nicole in saying CONGRATS! This is so exciting. I can't wait to check out your book.
Where was your Halifax launch? Nicole and I were in Halifax briefly a year ago and were excited to see the mag at Venus Envy.

The Halifax launch was at Venus Envy! My friend pointed out that if I felt nervous, I could imagine the whole audience naked, but also wearing one of the harnesses from their wall of sex toys.
