From the Toronto Star:
Bra size at 20 may predict Type 2 diabetes risk: Study.
“…figures still show that women who wore B, C and D cups developed the disease at higher rates than women who wore A cup bras.”
Is anyone else reading this and thinking it’s a rather misguided and bizarre way to perform a medical study?

gee, well I wonder what happens to this study when they factor in the fact that a lot of women end up wearing the wrong bra size...
Silly.

And according to another study those of us with small breasts are doomed to have stupid children. (Sigh). I'd really like to see a study done to determine whether or not anybody actually takes these studies seriously.

Yes I saw this story on the local TV news. Wouldn't it just more prudent and accurate to say that obesity is linked to mature-onset diabetes? Why does it have to be about women's bodies...yet again? Not that everyone who has large breasts is obese. Sheesh. And not that B or C or D cup are particularly large. But I mean really. We already know what causes diabetes. Is this some stupid hook to get people talking about diabetes? Isn't there a better way? Or was it a good excuse to show a lot of breasts on the news? (Finally! Bras are newsworthy!)
