Wow. More brilliant than I ever thought talk shows could be. It is rather like preaching to the converted and as usual there isn't deep thought, but it blows by far anything I could have imagined a talk show host in this age doing. You've brought me around. I like Ellen. Better change my views on breakfast television.

I've totally frightened away dates with my unabashed adoration for Ellen. So far my affection has been completely based on her neurotic comedy and mad dancing skills, but now I have another reason to love her.
The thing that's amazing about this is that on her show she rarely mentions the fact that she's gay - which is totally cool and kinda neat, I think, because why does she have to go on about her sexuality just because she's not straight? Straight folks are never expected to. But what I'm getting at is that though her coming out was this landmark thing, generally she's very unpolitical on her show and in her comedy. So it's really great to see her talking openly about this stuff every now and then. Better than her flip out over the doggie.
Speaking of, did you hear she's on the cover of Modern Dog? http://www.moderndogmagazine.com/feat... I wonder if she buys diamonds for Rover...

The Modern Dog interview is f'ing hilarious. I bought it the day it came out and read it immediately.
Oh crap, I just exposed my secret shame of reading "dog lifestyle" magazines...
