    Sex Issue Out Now

November 10th, 2015     by Sheila Sampath     Comments

About a week before this issue went to print, Shameless won an award for Choice in Media from Planned Parenthood Toronto. I was proud to accept it on behalf of our little indie mag, not only because we’re hardcore fans of the vitally important work that Planned Parenthood does, but because for the past eleven years, we’ve seen honest, accurate, accessible information as central to agency and choice-making. July 7th, 2014     by Christine Miskonoodinkwe-Smith     Comments

I’m a writer first and foremost, but since joining Shameless Magazine over a year ago, I have had to also don the hat of an editor for the column “Beyond the Books.” The Beyond the Books column was started when I joined team Shameless and it aims to give a voice to Indigenous peoples and discuss issues that are not normally talked about in books or the classroom. Fashion Issue Out Now!

June 30th, 2014     by Sheila Sampath     Comments

Behind the Scenes: Julia Horel, Publisher

March 1st, 2014     by Julia Horel     Comments

My first month as publisher of Shameless has been more than a whirlwind – it’s been a tornado of activity. Who would take on a major transition of a web team and business team at exactly the same time as a complete re-launch of a website? Shameless would, obviously. And what’s more, we would take it on and knock it out of the park, because that’s the kind of thing we do. READ MORE
